Prepare to be captivated this Halloween as Macnas, the world-renowned masters of storytelling and spectacle, return to Galway with their most daring and spine-tingling creation yet.
This year’s theme, to mark the theatre company’s 40th anniversary, they’ve announced the theme for the 2026 Halloween spectacle will be Fiáin – “Fiáin (fee-awn) is a celebration of the wild – the wild elements of the West of Ireland, the wild inspirations that have imbued our work over the last 40 years, and the wild energy that engulfs the streets, performers and audiences as we own the streets and public spaces for one night only.
