Flannery’s Hotel Covid-19 Safety Statement:

We appreciate that you will have heightened concerns regarding hygiene during your stay with us and trust in cleanliness standards will be critical to you in choosing to stay with us. With that in mind, we have created a programme that will focus on the highest standards of cleanliness and social distancing throughout the entire property. In these unprecedented times, your and our team’s safety is our highest priority. 

The success of the nationwide battle against Covid-19 was and still is, dependant on all of us working together as a community. This is just as relevant during your stay at Flannery’s Hotel and you are a vital component in ensuring continued success. Please continue to observe the recommendation of the HSE as has been advised by the government since the onset of the Coronavirus. 

On a daily basis we are working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Here are some measures we have implemented. 

Since Sunday 5 December 2021, all arrivals aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 must provide either of the following:

Team Health, Safety and Hygiene Knowledge:

Training our employees to have a high level of health, safety and hygiene knowledge is absolutely essential to having a successful health, safety and hygiene program.

Social Distancing: 

Our team are practicing ‘social distancing’ from both team colleagues and guests where possible. The HSE.ie is recommending that we keep a space of 2 meters between each other and to reduce the number of people we meet every day. Our property has taken steps to minimize interactions with guests and between guests. Simple steps like staggering meal reservations and separating the tables in our restaurant and bar. 

Hand Hygiene: 

Proper and frequent hand-washing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Our team is reminded daily that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests. 

Reception Areas:

Reduced contact at check-in, 2m floor markings, touchless transactions, front desk screens, sanitiser stations, sanitised key-cards, paperless check-out.

Guest Rooms:

Enhanced cleaning and double sanitisation programme, reduction of in-room furnishings / high touch items, new laundry protocols. Rooms are serviced on departure only to minimise contact.

Public Spaces & Facilities:

Regular cleaning of high touch points, 2m social distancing, 2m floor markings and 2m spaced tables, sanitizing stations and pre-booking system for dining. Guests are required to wear a face covering in all public areas including the bar and restaurant and are encouraged to use contactless payment.

Staff:

All staff have been trained to a high level of health, safety and hygiene standards. They are also practicing 2m social distancing.
