The Galway Races

Galway Racecourse plays host to one of the greatest race meetings in the world. The world famous and iconic Galway Races Summer Festival takes place from Monday 25th July and concludes Sunday 31st July 2022.

Known as ‘race week’ locally, the Festival traditionally draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over Ireland and worldwide. Ballybrit racecourse is the home of the Galway races and is located just 9 minutes from our hotel by car. Live showings of the races will be shown in Frankie's Bar and Bistro daily.  There is also live entertainment nightly during Race week at the hotel, with various food packages available during race week.
